Help… My Dog Chases His Tail.
Article Source: http://www.cesarsway.com/
When a dog chases his tail it can be a mixture of boredom, excitement or just pure habit. Tail chasing is caused by repetitive behaviour and it can be a complicated combination of environmental, physiological and learned factors. In the case of Lois Harvey and her 10 year old golden retriever, he chases his tail when excited especially when someone new has come to the house. He can reach his tail and run with it, even climbing into his bed still hanging on to it.
Don’t panic if your dog does this, there is help !! We have two videos for you to watch, the first one is a funny compilation of dogs who can’t quite reach their tails, and the second video is a lesson on how you can train your dog to stop chasing their tail. Good Luck !
